As I am coming to the end of yet another spin around the sun, I like to find a precious few moments to have a little ponder, usually with a drink in hand - what the liquid is depends on the time of day! My old self would usually create a very long list of what I had not done over the past year and start berating myself for the 'failures'; happily I'm now finding it more useful to reflect on what I have achieved, patting myself on the back, and starting to create a wish list for next year's joyride.
Each year usually has its share of ups and downs and 2016-7 was no exception: creating a broken foot, becoming a bit too cuddly, and being slightly overzealous in furthering my education. However, I have also recovered from said injury, have become a little less cuddly, and have finally caught up with most of the reading I set myself. I have also managed to spread my wings to slightly more exotic locales. Ever since I started out on this journey, I always knew I wanted to work in the best spas around the world....and finally I have made that a reality. Currently, I have 2 trips scheduled, with one or two more potentials in the pipeline. I am thrilled to be welcomed as a Visiting Master at Ananda Spa in the Himalayas (next month, Nov) and at Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary and Holistic Spa on the island of Koh Samui, Thailand (in Feb next year).
As such, available time is tight between now and when I leave, so if you've been meaning to schedule a session, let me know as soon as possible, so I can find a slot, or create one out of thin air if needs be! Or, if you're more the organised type, let's get dates in the diary for December.
I'm super chuffed in realising my goals for the year - and just in time for my birthday, as if I need any more excuses to celebrate!
Sending you all cuddles, cake and champagne xx
